Privacy & data

MVP Labs operates Fundraisr, a hosted service for sponsor relationships, payments, artwork, and board collaboration. This notice covers getfundraisr.io, its sponsor pages, and embedded sponsor displays.

Information we collect

  • Accounts and organizations: names, email addresses, password hashes, board memberships and roles, and organization details such as location and contact information.
  • Sponsor relationships: business and contact details, imported or saved directory listings, inquiries, conversations, board notes, packages, and follow-up history.
  • Sponsorship records: commitments, payment amounts and status, transaction references, logos, artwork, uploaded files, and recognition or delivery evidence.
  • Optional player or division credit: information entered to credit a sponsorship, private to the board. Use a player’s first name and last initial; do not enter birth dates or player contact details.

Hosting and security services also receive technical request details, such as your IP address and browser information. Sponsor displays record aggregate daily view and click counts rather than individual visitor profiles.

How information is used

We use information to provide account access, keep shared board records, manage sponsorships and payments, handle messages, prepare artwork, show recognition, and carry history between seasons. We also use it to operate and protect the service and respond to support requests.

Who can see it

Inquiries and sponsorship details are shared with the organization you chose. Its authorized board members access workspace records according to their roles. Contact that organization about its own use of your information, sponsor promises, or payment arrangements.

Sponsor hubs and artwork links provide access to the sponsorship or design they identify. Anyone with a private link may be able to access it, so share it only with people you trust. Private board notes are not included in the sponsor hub.

Business names, logos, recognition, and permitted profile details may appear on published pages and embedded sponsor displays. Sponsors can turn off public recognition in their private hub. Delivery evidence is shown to sponsors when the board shares it. Copies downloaded or published outside Fundraisr are outside our control.

MVP Labs may access information to operate the service, investigate problems, and handle support or privacy requests. Information may also be disclosed when required by law.

Services that process information

  • Square processes online payments for connected organizations. Card details go directly to the payment provider; Fundraisr stores payment amounts, status, and transaction references, not full card numbers.
  • Inbound processes messages received by board inboxes and outgoing board or account emails when sending is enabled, including addresses, message contents, and attachments.
  • Cloudflare and our hosting providers deliver and protect the website and process the request information needed to operate it.
  • Zippopotam.us and OpenStreetMap’s Overpass services receive ZIP codes and geographic queries for business discovery. Sponsor contact lists and board notes are not sent with those searches.
  • OpenStreetMap’s Nominatim service turns a town name typed into our home page search into a ZIP code, and turns a location into a ZIP code when a visitor chooses “Use my location”. We round the location to about half a mile before sending it, and keep only that rounded spot and its ZIP code, with nothing that identifies the visitor.

These providers handle information under their own privacy policies. Sponsor website links lead to separate sites with their own practices.

Storage, cookies, and security

Records, messages, and uploaded files are stored on Fundraisr’s hosted servers, rather than only on your device. We use a sign-in cookie and browser storage for features such as workspace and display preferences. Fundraisr does not include advertising trackers or third-party behavioral analytics. Our public information pages (the home page, resources, and this policy) use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies or visitor profiles. It does not run in the app, on league pages, or on sponsor pages.

The service uses HTTPS, password hashing, individual accounts, and organization and role-based access controls. Keep passwords and private sponsor links secure, and remove board access when volunteers leave.

Keeping and removing records

Fundraisr keeps relationship and sponsorship history across seasons. Starting a new season, signing out, or removing a board member does not erase those records. Workspace records and uploaded files do not expire automatically at the end of a season.

Account and workspace deletion are handled by request. We may need to verify your identity and authority over an organization. Financial records, legal obligations, and backup copies can affect what can be removed and when; we will explain applicable limits when responding. Payment providers manage their own records separately.

Your choices and requests

Board members can edit records according to their roles and export organization records from Organization settings. Exports include contacts, conversations, payments, seasons, and sponsor benefits; images and account access are not included. Keep downloaded exports private.

Sponsors can control public recognition in their hub and ask the organization to correct sponsorship information. You can ask the organization to stop contacting you, and its board can mark your business as opted out of outreach.

Account and sponsorship tools are intended for adult board members and business contacts. Organizations should only upload player information or photos they have permission to use and share.

Contact MVP Labs

Contact MVP Labs about privacy questions or requests to access, correct, or delete information held by Fundraisr. Include the organization name and email associated with your account or sponsorship. Do not send passwords, full card details, or private sponsor links.
